To check your computer's "resolution" is easy.

You may want to print this page first before you check your settings.

Minimize all your open windows.

On your computer's desktop (where you see all your available icons when you power up) just "right click' your mouse and click on the "properties" option.

In the resulting panel, click the "settings" tab and take a look for the screen resolution indicator. You can drag the arrow to change your resolution to 1024 x 768, then if necessary, click "OK" and respond to your choices until you complete your changes.
